Expansion in tire import and export business

Peter Küke married Heide Hassepaß in 1972. In the same year, Heide joined the business. In 1973, their son André came to the world. Despite the oil crisis in the 70s, "Küke & Lisson" still made breakthrough in the business: till then the company had done business only within Germany, now they started to make its first step to import tires from neighboring countries. Many tires have been transported from France by Heide in their own trucks. Imported tires became more and more important, and soon "Küke & Lisson" was no longer satisfied with the distribution limited within Germany. They started to export to neighboring countries and thus as the beginning of an internationally oriented tire wholesaler with success.

Gradually more product range has been taken into the sales except passenger car tires, such as truck tires, ag tires, earthmover tires etc. Till the 1980s, the company has established itself internationally: we have a network of customer and supplier from many countries in the world. The fitting station for passenger car tires has been in business at Pfingstanger 8 Herzberg till 1999. During that time, the company had 12 employee.
